Relaxing and Inviting

Coming to Meow Lounge offers a unique experience for everyone - spend time lounging with adoptable shelter cats while enjoying a game or two with friends

(board games and cards provided, or bring your own favorite to share.) 

Plenty of space to relax and find a quiet nook to read or study with

a kitty sleeping on your lap. We provide a welcoming,

safe environment for all of our guests.

How does it work?

You and your friends would like to spend a little time hanging out

with some cool cats... and you decide to 

We have 50-minute visits as well as longer work/study sessions.

You're also more than welcome to purchase a ticket in person, however

space in the cat room is limited, so it's best to book ahead if you want 

to be a guaranteed a spot. Visits start at 25 minutes and go up to full day passes.

Also, please check our event schedule prior to booking -

some of our time slots over lap with daily/weekly events. 

**Please keep in mind, the Lounge is geared more for kids ages 5 and older.**

Day of visit - Check in at front desk in the gift shop. Here, you'll sign waivers.

(did you know that cats have teeth and claws?)

Feel free to bring a snack and non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy during your visit -

our gift shop has a small amount of prepackaged snacks and drinks, including locally

made chocolate, cookies and protein bars.

Now offering FREE tea and hot chocolate (GF/DF).

When it's time, you'll go into the cat lounge - there is a separate entrance to help keep our cats safe.

To help keep our Lounge clean for the kitties - we offer shoe covers or we ask that shoes be removed before entering the cat area.

If you fall in love with one of our cat residents, and want to welcome a new furry friend into the family. Great! We partner with a local rescue, and all of our cats are adoptable.

You can fill out an application during your visit.

There is also additional parking across the street at Creative Works.

Lounge Cat:  A person who spends many consecutive hours sitting on a couch viewing television. The Lounge cat can usually be found lounging at a friend's house. It is the friend's responsibility to take care of the lounge cat while the cat is at their house. responsibilities include feeding and making sure the cat is comfortable. Lounge cats can lounge anywhere from 2 to 10 hours in one day.

Nolan came over to my house yesterday. He was being a complete lounge cat.

He sat on my couch for like 8 hours. I even had to provide him with lunch.

You can also rent Meow Lounge for private events.  Nothing too loud for our resident kitties -

but open to just about anything that would fit our quieter atmosphere.
